CITRUS BERGAMIA AURANTIUM – Bergamot, Italy
This is one of my favorite oils. I add a drop or two to many of my blends because it adds a light richness without taking over. It relaxes, refreshes and boosts self esteem. Like orange, it is uplifting and joyous. It has a lovely citrus aroma. It is the aroma and flavour you experience when drinking Earl Grey Tea. It is one of the best air purifiers I know of. You can add to a spray bottle with water to get rid of those stale, stuffy odors in your car. If there is a smoker in your house, a daily spritz will definitely help clear the energy. It is just like orange and the other citrus oils in that you do not apply to the skin before going out into the sun. It can increase the susceptibility of the skin to severe burning.
