When asked to describe what she does in a single sentence, Kate Rossetto answers ... "I teach people to have an experience with the gifts of the earth that empowers them to improve their life."

Rossetto  has been interacting with plants ever since she learned how to garden. The tastes, smells and visual beauty of the plant kingdom have inspired and motivated her to seek a deeper, more spiritual relationship with herself and God. Her use of essential oils has proven to be an integral element in her process of healing and wholeness. Kate places a high degree of importance on top quality, organic raw material and essential oils for all products. Her gardening practices reflect this same degree of integrity. Kate's gardens and products are further enhanced with the energy of "Universal Light" through the healing modality of Reiki.

Kate started her own company ~ "Scents of Balance" ~ in 1988, while living on Maui. This small home based business specializes in beauty care products made without harsh chemicals and synthetics. Her apothecary consists of fresh and dried herbs and flowers, organic fruit and vegetable oils, and the purest of essential oils. All of her products and formulations are hand made ... from the herbal infusions, the emulsions for the lotions and creams, the essential oil blending, to the bottling and labeling.
